The new Border Target Operating Model and border procedures are likely to come into effect at the start of 2024, having been delayed from October 2023. These new security controls will seriously impact the business processes of importers bringing in animal products, plants and plant products and live animals, especially from the EU. This covers more businesses than many realise and it is important that you are prepared for the changes and know how to adapt.
This practical 90-minute online course is designed to bring importers up to speed on the new import procedures and is illustrated with process maps and user journeys to make the changes easy to understand. It will show you how to identify if your products are of high, medium or low risk and explain the consequences of each rating.
