The data protection regime in the UK has not stood still since the introduction of GDPR. While pending legislation may be on hold, the ICO and EU continue to issue new guidance and take regular enforcement actions that enable us to more clearly interpret how the law should be applied. The Government has introduced the Data (Use and Access) Bill into Parliament which will update GDPR and other data protection laws.
